Is fasting merely about enduring hunger❓

The Month of Blessings ♥️

Fasting: A Test or Patience,Not Just Hunger

Some things in life come unexpectedly, while for others, we are prepared in advance. When we anticipate an event, we mentally prepare ourselves to handle it, making it easier to face and find peace in it.

As Muslims, we know that in our twelve-month Islamic calendar, every month brings a special religious event. We are aware and ready for these occasions. Among them, the most sacred and spiritually uplifting month is RAMADAN UL MUBARAK ♥️. This is a time of immense blessings, eagerly awaited not just in Pakistan but across the entire Muslim world.

Wherever Muslims reside, they welcome this holy month with excitement and devotion. Ramadan carries a unique spiritual essence that fills lives with peace and countless blessings. Every believer observes fasting to draw closer to Allah, demonstrating patience and devotion.

From the pre-dawn Fajr prayer until Maghrib, a fasting Muslim abstains from food and drink solely for Allah

But does fasting only mean staying hungry and thirsty?

Is it just about resisting food for a few hours?

Patience Let u to closer to Allah ✨

No! Allah does not need our hunger or thirst. What truly matters to Him is our patience, sincerity, and self-discipline.

> "O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous."
(Qur'an 2:183)

Fasting is not just about avoiding food; it involves complete self-control over our thoughts, actions, and desires. The real challenge is to tame our nafs (self/ego), refrain from negative actions, and purify our hearts.

Many people believe they are fasting simply by abstaining from food, but if they engage in dishonesty, bad intentions, or deceit, then.

what is the purpose of their fast?

The essence of fasting lies in spiritual purification, controlling our emotions, and aligning our actions with our beliefs.

> "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever does not give up false speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink.'" (Sahih Bukhari 1903)

Life teaches us that people may advise us, but only Allah truly knows what is best for us. If someone secretly eats while fasting, thinking no one has seen them does that mean

Allah is unaware?

Of course not! Fasting is a test of faith and sincerity, and Allah is aware of every intention.

Trust on Allah everything gonna be fine 💞

A person’s true character is reflected in their actions, just as the fragrance of food reflects its taste. Integrity and honesty bring inner peace, and only those who sincerely accept reality can find true contentment.

> "And whoever puts his trust in Allah, He will suffice him." (Qur'an 65:3)

Today, in our society, many misconceptions arise because people complicate religious teachings. Yet, Islam is simple, and its guidance is clear. When Allah and His Prophet (ﷺ) have explained matters in straightforward words.

Then why should there be any doubts or objections?

Accepting the truth as it is may be difficult, but once embraced, it brings true tranquility.

My request to everyone observing Ramzan:

Let’s not just endure hunger and thirst, but truly reflect on our behavior, actions, and sincerity. When we choose truth, patience, and righteousness, life becomes peaceful.

May Allah grant truth and tranquility to all. Ameen.
