Face the Truth ๐ฆ
What is Reality?
I’ve named my blog as REALITY CHECK ✔️,
But what truly is reality?
What constitutes reality, and what is its essence?
How can we define it, and how should we embrace it?
Can understanding and applying reality bring any meaningful changes to our lives?
We often perceive reality as (TRUTH). While this isn’t wrong, reality goes beyond mere truth; it is a deeper, more profound form of truth. It’s a truth that a person accepts, integrates into their practical life, and reflects upon to understand its importance.
Does accepting this truth lead to a life lived in peace and tranquility?
Life is full of ups and downs. As Muslims and as humans, we must engage with the truth. Instead of rushing to resolve matters practically, we should approach them calmly. While practicality isn’t inherently wrong, becoming overly practical often distances a person from their ability to deeply think and understand.
Why Are People Afraid of the Truth?
One thing I’ve never been able to understand is why people often feel it’s necessary to lie to end a conversation or resolve a situation.
As our elders say, "Lies have no legs."
Sooner or later, a person gets caught in their own falsehoods. Even if a lie provides temporary relief, the truth inevitably comes to light.
So, what’s the point of lying in the first place?
When someone lies, they end up creating stress for themselves. They constantly fear being exposed and are forced to pile lie upon lie to maintain the facade. People even use lies to comfort themselves, to bring momentary happiness or peace to their hearts, but in the long run, it’s futile and pointless.
There are very few people in this world who genuinely detest lying. While they might not lie to others, they often resort to lying to themselves in moments of vulnerability or to find solace. People lie to win others over, but in reality, they gain nothing from it.
In contrast, facing the truth brings peace of mind. No matter the situation, one should rely on truth, develop the courage to accept it, and incorporate it into their lives.
Why do we run from the truth?
Is it truly more dangerous than a lie?
To me, speaking the truth sets us free—free from tension, stress, and unnecessary worries.
Truth instills a sense of justice within a person’s character. We should always prepare ourselves to confront reality, no matter how harsh it may be. Sometimes, truths can be devastating—like losing a loved one or facing a significant loss. Yet, even in such moments, confronting the truth is necessary to achieve peace.
My Point of View
I believe people should develop an affinity for reality and build the courage to face the truth. We must learn to deal with every situation life throws at us. Only then can we live peacefully. Staying away from lies and striving to become a lover of truth can also inspire others to embrace reality.
Facing the truth helps us avoid future troubles and grants us freedom from unnecessary burdens๐️
