Have you ever sat alone and asked yourself, "Oh child of Adam, why have you entangled yourself in so many difficulties? What necessities have enslaved you? For what reason have you ruined the peace of your life? What is it all for? What is the end of all these efforts?"

Why do you chase so many things in this world? Sometimes you strive for your happiness, sometimes for your family, and other times for your children. What will you truly gain from all this?

If you’re sacrificing for your children, haven’t you seen how other children treat their parents? Do you expect something different from your own?

If you’re doing it for your family, which family is this—one that includes your wife and children? Remember, on the Day of Judgment, this very family will turn away from you. So why all the effort?

If you’re striving for someone else’s happiness or your own peace, hoping to become a better person, then tell me—what do you truly hope to achieve by doing all this?

Our lives—mine, yours, and everyone else’s—will pass in endless efforts. We will forever keep striving for something. Today, I want to discuss a topic with you all. I’ll share how people make intense commitments for their love and what they do to achieve it. And here’s the truth: out of everyone in this world, only 0.01% find true and successful love.

• We all dream of an ideal life—thinking we’ll find the perfect partner, have children, build a family, and live happily ever after.
• Some succeed in turning this dream into reality, while others regret their decisions, wondering why they got married in the first place. Some even go through divorce and search for a new partner. It’s a harsh but amusing reality.
• When we fall in love, we paint beautiful pictures for the other person, promising them the world, assuring them that we’ll do everything for their happiness. But these commitments often have little to do with reality.

 

                              Convenience

• When we commit to someone, everything feels easy at first. But when it’s time to face reality, we find ourselves struggling. The promises we made become burdensome, and we often fail to fulfill them.
• To achieve the person we made so many promises to, we begin trying to convince our families. If the family doesn’t agree, we might take a wrong step—something that ultimately harms us.
• The simplest solution is to avoid such commitments during immaturity. Instead, focus on your career. That’s the best way forward.
